Product Information
- Manufacturer: Boals Maker Group
- Materials used: PLA, PLA Silk, PETG, ABS, and ASA, depending on the product
This page describes the materials used in our 3D-printed products, for transparency.
1. Material Summary
Our items are printed from thermoplastic filament. Once printed, an item is a solid plastic article, not a liquid, powder, or gas. For details on a specific filament, refer to the filament manufacturer's safety information. If you would like to know the exact material used in a particular product, please contact us.
2. Materials and Care
- PLA: A bio-based thermoplastic with low heat resistance. It can warp in hot places, such as a parked car.
- PLA Silk: A PLA variant with a glossy finish. Care is the same as PLA; keep it away from heat.
- PETG: Durable and slightly more flexible than PLA.
- ABS / ASA: Higher impact strength and heat tolerance than PLA. ASA is UV-resistant. Keep away from flames.
Cleaning
Use mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not put items in a dishwasher; high heat and pressure can cause warping.
Food Contact
These products are not intended for food contact or ingestion. The surface texture of 3D-printed items can trap residue and bacteria.
Choking Hazard
Small parts may pose a choking hazard. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years of age.
