Boals Maker Group is a family-run maker studio based in Maryland, USA. Founded by Geoffrey Boals, we specialize in crafting personalized, high-quality 3D-printed items that reflect your individuality, printed with care right here in the USA.
What Makes Us Different
Every piece we create is made to order. We use precision 3D printing to bring custom designs to life, including officially licensed designs from Cinderwing3D, StudioAmbo, Galatic Armory, and Stephen Wolfe. Whether it's a one-of-a-kind gift or a detailed custom piece, we put craftsmanship into everything that leaves our workshop. Printed and inspected in Maryland, USA.
Our Approach to Quality
Low-cost, mass-produced fidget toys can arrive with fused joints, rough surfaces, or fragile edges. We take a different approach: we invest more time and quality materials in every piece, so our customers, local businesses, and US retailers can buy from us with confidence.
Built for Stability: The 4-Wall Standard
We use a four-wall minimum on our designs. The thicker outer shell improves impact resistance and stability, giving our dragons and sensory items a solid, substantial feel and helping the articulated joints hold up to regular handling.
Internal Structure: Gyroid Infill at 12-15%
We print with a gyroid infill pattern at 12-15% density. Gyroid infill is a continuous, wavy internal structure that spreads stress evenly in every direction, adding strength without unnecessary weight.
Quality Materials: Kingroon & Jayo Filaments
We print with Kingroon and Jayo structural and silk filaments. Consistent filament diameter helps produce even extrusion and a smooth, glossy finish, including color-shifting silk effects.
Inspected in Maryland
Every articulated wing, tail link, and moving joint is flex-tested and inspected here in Maryland before an item ships, so the joints move smoothly out of the box. If a print doesn't meet our standards, we reprint it.
